The sadistic nature of ragging in university, is being realised as a crime, but yet to be understood as a sickness of the mind.
Many a wonderful person has been lost to this hedeious act, which the war veterans of those days, learnt in their zones, brought it to the civilians.
The whole nature of interaction between people, has turned into a subjugation of body mind complex, of demonic nature.
It is wrong to compartmentalise it as something that is happening only in the student community, between students, though it is obvious only there.
Look all around, it may be a single, one to one, one to many, or many to one, shredding of a spirit, physically free, but psychologically bound, happening in every place.
I am against ragging, but realised it could surface in the midst of unawareness, before meek subordinates, willing to accept chauvanism, within us all.
Stay vigilant, and save those who are being ragged, wherever you can with courage, from you and from others, to tap wonderful souls to living.
