The freedom fighters of our land, fought bravely in violent and non violent ways, to get the colonialists packing away, to win back our freedom and rule ourselves.
Where are we with the freedom gained? Earned with blood shed, yet with dignity intact.
Many a policy is made, with a clause for something free, only then can a Passover be accepted.
How did we get to this? we who were the most resourceful, down to a state of open palms, even though our pant pockets are not empty.
Nothing comes free, anything that is offered so, would have a catch, you pay for it with your liberty, privacy, mandatory policies.
Everyone of us have incidences, the questioning mind is dumbfounded, when we accept freebies, In private, government, national and international levels.
So the next time there is a free for something, think and play different, and see the freedom won, every time.
This is freedom. Freedom from, and Freedom for.
