The 3 Bs

A slice of brown bread goes great with banana  rings and stoned brown sugar pieces, i hope i have given u great imagination for the evening snack.

Nutritious snacks with the morning tea, at the village bench

This gentleman and his family,are serving the village with sprouted grams and  an assortment of pounded rice,with tea for the morning snack.

Many in this area start work from 4 am and they slowly start trickling in here to gossip and read the morning papers,by 7 am it is peak hours and by 8 , it is a stand still quietness.

He had some ailments for which he had recovered with his nutritional changes in his diet with other help, and wanted to share it to his customers.

Sea salt, cold pressed oil and whole wheat buns ,are the other changes he wants to make permanent, in the changes he has made silently already.

Thanks to him and his family for this healthy move for the welfare of the village folks.

An 11th commandment for the tablet

I had been against the vaccines in many a voice, but i have always had an inkling of doubt, not in my heart,but in its design, but that has been confirmed by the judiciary in a recent ruling.

It seems like a ruling for an addition into the tablets of Moses as a commandment,"Thou shall not sue the medical brothers, for their vaccines

".

A win for the Big Pharma, and a bye pass for the judiciary from having to read about the pharmacology, and give a judgement against themselves, and their mentors.

Doctors were treated as GOD, and they continue to act as that

In our village, a doctor is next to the deity in a temple, it is not for the subjects that he has studied, but for his acts that are done at times of disasters in health .

 I have always felt that it was a treatment we did not deserve,for it would unnecessarily make us go heavy in the head.

It would separate us at home too with the professional status continuing to act in the subconscious.

Reading  on God, i have found many an expansion, and i liked two,
1  it just means  "that which is" , no objectivity , but a present moment.
2  G - generator , o  - operator  , d  - destroyer.

My god this sure got me thinking if the health care workers were looked on as this in the modern world , it would be scary to take on that title and role.

Like a clause to many a bill that is passed, i shall add a link on vaccines.

Shhhhh - cancer is a taboo word.

In our village  there are a few things which are not discussed in open, one is sex and the other is death, but now another thing is added as a side track of death and that is cancer.

The number of deaths in our village due to cancer has become so much noticeable

, that folks are asking why,where and how?

Any thing and every thing is hacked and repackaged , but this is never out, as it is mysterious and threatens everything, and brings on darkness.

The scientific world is and has been trying to track it, but we are happy with the few survivors, other wise we could be as ignorant of it as the public.

Many have their own researches, and with time may be they would all come out with their findings and save mankind.

There are some secrets from the virus in the tobacco, and other virus that cause a contamination and cause  cancer, who knows u may find your own links, and spread the truth.

Find the causes and halt spread cancer.

Bitter gourd helps to keep away worries of sweetness

The news on the screen told me that the seeds of the bitter gourd helps a diabetic and some one got interested in marketing them, only to find himself chased for his good fortune, of making the folks healthy by the companies

Strange , but it sure is confusing with the text booking and study of the marketing world even for health care, with the MBA degree everything becomes a business.

The morning marketing found me attracted to the small kutti kutti bitter gourds, and with no bargaining for the double palm full for a sum of 10 rupees, i returned after picking up other things .

The afternoon lunch  was goody with millet balls and the bitter gourd curry, rice, rasam and curd .

Pineapple slices were wonderful  before the lunch itself .

The bitterness is adjusted with the addition of jaggery, try them tomorrow.

Their preservatives are ( our ) killers

Cancer is a taboo word in our village, yet it is slowly surfacing to be discussed at village gossips spots like the tea shop benches and dark low brick walls parkers called as "thinnais".

It is as mysterious as it is for scientists, but with practicalness, as what has happened to us that we are being given this, the village elders and working middle class all seem to be affected .

There are no very high and low class, all are middle here.

Every thing seems to boil down to food , with few side channels .

A happy healthy home is one which has its folks spend much time and thought regarding to food and its preparations.

Now  food preparations are not a topic for discussion , unless it has come up on the tv screen with  some one else trying out our local dishes.

Any food that does not get spoil t soon , needs to be looked at with caution, we had seen some pictures of them here made at fast food joints and  forgotten and seen again after months still in tact and not smelling.

The things that are used to keep away the fungus and other scavenging things of nature, are our cancer causing chemicals , reading them may scare u too, my words are just to get u to search them to become  more aware of our Health.

Food poisoning - a calamity in the loo

I have always thought that i am fully unhygenic , born here and living around filthiness,nothing could make me get any problem.

I always felt sorry for the class mates who are in the west and come back for a holiday and refusing any thing bought on the road side and taking only bottled mineral water, very cautious to prevent being poisoned with stale spoilt food.

I had a taste of it this week ,it was a simple idly, sambar, chutney dinner from a local restaurant, and  ohhh it was  a rumbling  night, and a heavy morning, and a day spent with multi visits to the loo, and not to be just happy that my insides was getting an over haul, i was getting tired, something i have not realised for a long time if i could remember.

My mind was playing games, how stupid i was with taking what ever i wanted and when ever i wanted, and how much ever i wanted and what ever time it was and more ..

I felt i was getting very wise and strong with convictions i will be cautious from now on .

So it was tender coconut water , butter milk and curd rice and a repetition of the same for another day , to become well and ok for work the next.

Oh for those poisoners of food, but nothing happens to them , just shows our body  immune system is sharp, to kick out the bad things from inside.

A paragraph of lies in our text books

A child  trusts his teacher , more than his parents at home, we see that in the school premises, where the rich famous  parent begs the teacher to put in a word, as the child refuses to accept his understanding.

We have been ingrained in that way , and when there is a wrong word or a saying of mistrust  done purposefully  by the masters, who are the makers of our needs in a variety of businesses, through our teacher, then who would make a correction. We  trust them much.

When one just works for the government agency in matters of health , one looses one sense of individual assessment , or if one does, it would get him to a state of whistle blowing , which would end in professional suicide, a disaster for the family and career.

Generally speaking one could go on , but coming to the point of hurt , it comes down to the centers who make the rules, that make the print as the order.

In this case the study on the flu.

In our village the  seasonal flu is never taken as some thing big and a case for treatment, unless the patient is adamant and has made up his mind for a shot of medicines.

I was astonished myself first, but it works. simple herbal decoctions ,rest, vegetable soup, and the meat broth,  for those who do not have difficulties with the meat as medicine.

One asked me , i agree with other things , but why the meat, u who advocate vegetarianism, i said  meat is bad and it releases such toxins in its digestion, that the flu virus  runs away with the toxins released or gets destroyed  by them and the natural immune system takes over.

So it is time we have ways to see what our teachers  in print bluff us with our trust in them .

Sprouted malt powder- with no preservatives

A parent had come bringing with her,  her child of 9 th class, after some time the discussion was what in the tinned powders that cost so much of money , tapping the keys i opened up the ingredients list of that product, and the child said , it looks like our whole chemistry lab is in there!

Well that is the combination of all the stuff that is added to the products.

A local patient is preparing  a malted powder with a blend of all the locally available cereals and pulses and sprouted what ever can be sprouted and with addition of a few spices, and no preservatives , she packs them to sell it at an affordable price.

It goes well with sea salt or with jaggery , and with innovations one could make even payasam with it.

Drinking to health or drinking to misery

What ever the cause or what ever the reason, the distance between a high stool at a tasmac (tamil nadu state drinking house) bar, to a floor mat at a spiritual bar is not much .

May the revelation strike, as the things that happen are similar and beyond they say.

Fresh wheat buttered buns

Tea and buns are a legacy of the English man.
Many in our village are addicted to it and the weaning away from the tea bun, tiffin  can be a difficult one.

we are advising our country cousins to eat wheat buns and  sundal ( sprouted horse gram ) available at a tea stall , they use sea salt and are shifting to cold pressed sesame oil.

Fresh cow's butter from a farm who do not use soy grain feeds, and who do not give  oxytocin injections to milk their cows.

Brittle calcium to strengthen bones

The calcium advert is on the screen so often that it looks like the general public seems to know more than the professional us.

Our strength lies in our teeth and bones, but more in the truth about them.

The inorganic calcium that is being marketed in the media, which is pre-formed, do u think it will go and get plastered over our bones and cover our teeth and make them fortified.

Great hope.

They may get to settle any where.

In our village , taking curd after a dish of meat is prohibited, stops with rasam.

what we need is food that is balanced and natural, or the body has to leech other minerals in our body to maintain blood pH.

So do our bones and teeth get strong or weak from supplemented calcium  ?

But calcium is a great industry how can it be wrong.

The oysters and other shells in the ocean have enormous calcium , but not the sea.

If this is only for calcium, what about all the other elements in the periodic table and the trace elements.

We will have to see where all they are  in our body and all the foods available, and more supplementation, what nonsense.

Nature knows how to convert what we eat to what we need.

Snake gourd delicacy

The climbers are a variety of vegetables in a class of their own, healthy, nutritious and tasty, with all the blessings of the sun and wind.

Today we had snake gourd made traditionally in a mud pot, a change with the addition of green gram dal.

Ingredients

snake gourd
green gram( paasi parupu)
small onions
dried chille powder
turmeric powder
country tomatoes and sea- salt to taste

First the green gram is half boiled ,  the rest of the ingredients are added with enough water and cooked.

Goes great with rice and chappathis.


Make enough, so that u have much for a second serving.

Not a diabetic? Not an hypertensive? don't u worry we will find it for u.

Many a private, or a board of doctors , send out pamplets like this or stick them on walls as free billboards, to advertise their trade.

It has become selling oneself to win patients to carry on the profession, today.

Those who are healthy, reading such pamplets would get to become an hypochondriac, and wish to have themselves checked,  eventually falling into some category and get to have a life long relationship with some medical shop, being shifted from one specialist to another.

Free camps may be free, but not the things that follow it.

Junk joints are whore houses

How could  one justify such a title i thought, well it came to my mind and i decided why not try .

wooing a lady, needs lots of care and attention to detail and climatic conditions to go with the offerings to win the heart of the beauty .

one cannot take for granted that u would be allowed to be shallow when u woo,
there is so much to learn and savour every moment, and every moment is different.

whore houses i guess  one doesn't need to know any thing , every thing is slam bam thank u mam, unless u have fallen for the whore and intend to woo her to be your lady of the heart.

one never gets to ever know what is inside a junk food, from the drinks to the eats, and the licking ice creams.

In organic home food , one has a chance to know at least what u are eating, and how it is made and from where u get it.

Now with the awareness growing ,we know,that junk food restaurants offer plastics as food which look like they are eats, which even the  bacteria and fungi  keep away from .

Finally one knows what one gets , immediately or in the far end of ones life

Shame, one has to make such comparisons to drive deep  nutrition topics.

Bill to pay the bill for vaccinations

 For a profession of healing, no doctor would willingly accept words from a layman, to thwart his principles of hard learning,practice, and updating yet we would willingly accept the same laymen to lay foundations or things to enhance a medical project without questions , when we should be careful to accept with caution.

Whoever it may be, the words apply even if it be Bill Gates.

How could he promote vaccinations with lavish donations, and we accept his word as truth for the benefit of our patients and the world at large.

Bill gates and his foundation is on to offer 10 billion dollars in the decade to make this the ' decade of vaccinations" how magnanimous, but would it not be more wonderful to improve sanitations and other basic necessities to fight against diseases, which seem to keep on multiplying, with new names and more sporadic nature, than  imbalancing ones immune system.

Does no one really see something wrong there?

(There was a question from a patient the other day, previously if we had a case of viral attack, it was said that we would never ever get it again, how come things have changed now with the present.

Answer - Now we play games with medicines and the organisms mutate to play with us.)

Travelling on the road of prescribed vitamins

The spiral visual being shown was of a multivitamin compound, with a basket of fruits, colorfully arranged and lighted for the picture.

I got the picture mentally saved .

I asked the representative where does the vitamin that he is marketing got from in that array of fruits, he said he did not know, i requested him to take that as a company work to be submitted for the next visit.

The next visit and further visits did not bring on results, and neither did he take the spirit to get to know.

I volunteered and showed him most synthetic vitamins are got from petrochemical derivatives, that we prescribe to our patients.

He was shocked and so was I. (different reasons)

Where do the ones u take, come from? Road Tar or Nature.

A is for anti, B is for bios

If A is for anti, and B is for bios meaning life, what is an anti-biotic.

If this is going to be against life , why is it being administered to a living person,or if it was only for the bacteria , which is living, should this general term be used, when we could have just adopted anti- bacterial.

Or was it purposely selected to destroy life later on.\

Well if we agree they are termed right, it may have a sinister outcome to be realized at later times.

Turmeric - the divine root

I had taken my kid for one of the meets sponsored by a company that promoted anti rabies vaccine, the kid was quiet till a slide said , do not sprinkle any turmeric powder on any wound.

My son asked me why not?? i said shshshsh i will talk to u later.

In our custom turmeric is used as a condiment for all our good food preparations, in temple rituals it is used as an applicant over the body , and as a cosmetic too for the women, in the bindi and also as a general applicant for wounds.

Now the scientific organisations have begun to realize that it has anti- bacterial, anti- viral properties and it is a curative and has more actions which we will know with the researches going on.

I was talking about this to a cousin in states, and he says, ohh i take turmeric tablets .

Hmmm this is news to me.
