Liberation or empowerment

In many a society, gender rights are unequal, one is pampered and favoured, the other is guarded, fenced and restricted.

Now education, awareness and media are bringing to the front this inequality.

To garner support some firms, political parties, people who want to woo crowds, have started using a term empowerment.

Power is a term meaning strength, to destroy, to crush, to battle, to put down and instill fear.

Maybe the people actually want liberation to do what they want, to be creative, to sit and talk at the same level and to be treated as equal, same opportunities, less restrictions.

You may get what you want as a reaction to what is present, but we men know, power brings on destruction, keeping you segregated, loss of friends, always on the lookout, to see who is going to topple you.

Bringing on war and it's aftermath, fear and hatred.

Many individual families are slowly moving towards understanding and liberation.

Once you begin to taste power, there is no limit to it's border, liberation is safer.

Do the activists mean liberation or  knowingly ask for empowerment?
